Spanish Teacher Requirements:

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Education
  2. Current teacher certificate with teaching endorsements
  3. Must be certifiable through AACS
  • Full Time Elementary Teachers

Full-Time positions available:

  • Upper Elementary Teacher (possible)
  • Lower Elementary Teacher (possible)
  • Middle School Science (for the fall of 2026)
  • High School Science (for the fall of 2026)
  • High School, Middle School and Elementary Teacher Requirements:
  1. A Bachelor’s Degree, Bachelor’s in Education preferred
  2. Current teacher certificate with teaching endorsements
  3. Must be certifiable through AACS

Part-time positions available which may be combined to achieve full-time hours and salary:

  • Middle School English Teacher
  • Middle School Girls Bible Teacher
  • Middle School Physical Education and Health Teacher (girls)
  • Middle School Physical Education and Health Teacher (boys)
  • High School Physical Education and Health Teacher (co-ed)
  • Athletic Director or Assistant Athletic Director (stipend pay)
  • High School Dean of Students (men) (stipend)
  • Middle School Dean of Men (stipend)
  • Director of Development (stipend)
  • Stipend pay is in addition to compensation for other services/responsibilities

High School History Teacher Requirements:

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Bachelor’s in Education preferred
  2. Current teacher certificate with teaching endorsements
  3. Must be certifiable through AACS

High School History Teacher Duties Include:

World History, Early American History, Modern American History, Government and Economics

Elementary Teacher Requirements (Experience preferred, but not required):

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Bachelor’s in Education preferred
  2. Current teacher certificate with teaching endorsements
  3. Must be certifiable through AACS
  • Middle School and High School Science Teachers

Science Teacher Requirements (Experience preferred, but not required):

  1. Minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree, Bachelor’s in Education preferred
  2. Current teacher certificate with teaching endorsements
  3. Must be certifiable through AACS
  • Physical Education/Health Teachers (Experience preferred, but not required)

This position is part-time and stipend to a full-time teacher’s salary

  • Part Time Director of Transportation

Director of Transportation Duties Include:

Coordinate and oversee the bus drivers

  • Bus Driver for Charleston Route: Southridge (No CDL License Required)
  • Athletic Director

This position is paid and part-time

Athletic Director Duties Include:

Overseeing scheduling, coaches, and athletic administrative details. Previous experience is a plus.

  • Part Time Elementary Aide (Fifth Grade)

This position requires approximately thirty hours per week

School Counselor Requirements:

  1. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  2. School counselor experience and/or license in counseling a plus
  3. 20+ hours per week time commitment
  • School Counselor Duties Include:
Counseling students in meeting graduation requirements and post-secondary plans
 
Overseeing everything related to the PSAT and SAT and working with the assistant administrator on AP courses and Iowa testing
 
Organizing College Application and Exploration Week and College Decision Day
 
Sending transcripts and scholarship information for seniors
 
Verifying educational credentials of alumni and sending transcripts as requested
 
Attending professional development and training pertaining to College Board and financial aid
 
Leading field trips to local college fairs and colleges and conducting the Career Fair
 
Administering and reviewing placement testing for new students
 
Planning and hosting Preview Days for middle school and high school
 
Working with our IT specialist on grades, transcripts, and schedules
