The Fine Arts Department exists to help students realize the beauty of creative processes utilizing the abilities God has endowed within each individual. The CLCS Fine Arts faculty highly encourages students to participate in classical studies, private lessons, and experiential involvement in imaginative, aesthetic, or intellectual content by the masters of drama, rhetoric, art and music. Realizing that some students are naturally gifted with different creative abilities, the Fine Arts faculty seeks to further develop the skills of each individual no matter the entering level of ability.

Cross Lanes Christian School participates in the Fine Arts activities of the West Virginia Christian Education Association (WVCEA). Participation is open to all upper elementary, junior high, and senior high school students. In addition to testing in Bible and academics, Fine Arts Festivals offer an opportunity for students to compete individually and in groups in the categories of music, art, and speech.
