The Class of 2020 has experienced a unique and unexpected senior year! We are proud of their determination and hard work in completing the school year away from campus. We are confident that God has a plan and a purpose for each one of them as their education at CLCS comes to a close. For the next couple of weeks, we would like to highlight one senior each day by sharing with you their plans for the future


SENIOR:  Ava Payton Anderson

Ava is the daughter of David and Sara Anderson. She attends River Ridge Church of Charleston. Ava is a member of the American Christian Honor Society signified by the wearing of the gold honors cord. She was a recipient of the Principal’s Award during her sophomore year. Ava is wearing a Gold Academic medal to represent a GPA higher than 3.8. Ava is also recognized for the 2nd highest GPA in Anatomy and Physiology and English 12. She is also a recipient of the WV Promise scholarship.  Ava is a scholar member of the Chick-fila Leadership Academy. After graduation, Ava plans to attend Liberty University in the fall and major in Law and Policy.
