Dear CLCS Families,
I am sure by now you have gotten wind of the Governor’s new executive orders regarding Thanksgiving Break and the Suspension of Winter Sports.
“Winter sports are postponed until January 11. This includes wrestling, basketball, and cheerleading. If you’ve already started, you will have to stop.”
As of today, all basketball and cheerleading practices and games are postponed until January 11, 2021.
The second executive order involved an extension of the Thanksgiving break.
In compliance with the Governor’s executive order, CLCS will be dismissed on Wednesday, November 25, at noon through Friday December 4, 2020 for Thanksgiving Break.
School will resume in-person classes on Monday, December 7, 2020.
Students will be taught virtually Monday-Friday, November 30, 2020 to Friday, December 4, 2020. Please refer to the virtual schedule on the school’s website (note: only core classes are offered during an ALL school Virtual condition).
www.crosslanes.org > click on the Class Schedules tap at the top of the page > on the drop down you will find “Middle School Virtual Schedule” and “High School Virtual Schedule” > click on the appropriate one for your grade level. Those are the times to login to your student’s respective classes.
The Middle School Fall Social is still on! Since it is just our students and staff (those that they are with on a regular basis), we will proceed as planned. Students will be pre-screened prior to entry, must wear masks (except when eating), and use hand sanitizer when deemed appropriate.
Thank-you for your cooperation and understanding.
Mr. Eddie Riley, Administrator
