Our CLCS Middle School Robotics Team has been busy putting their engineering and problem-solving skills to work as they prepare for competition!Â
Â
Students are working together in teams to design, build, test, and improve their robots. From assembling frames and mechanisms to troubleshooting designs and learning how different components work together, there is a lot of hands-on learning happening each week!
Â
One of the best parts of robotics is watching our students learn that engineering is a process. Sometimes the first idea works—and sometimes it means going back to the drawing board, making adjustments, and trying again! Along the way, they’re developing skills in critical thinking, creativity, teamwork, communication, and perseverance.
Â
We love seeing our students collaborate, share ideas, solve problems, and turn their plans into working robots. There is definitely some great teamwork and innovation happening at CLCS as the teams prepare to put all of their hard work to the test at their first competition!
