CLCS requires one speech credit for graduation.

Our speech students have competed and placed nationally including the National Speech and Debate Association (NSDA) National Tournaments in Birmingham, Alabama; Fort Lauderdale, Florida; and Dallas, Texas.

We offer opportunity for students to participate in speech and drama presentations during the West Virginia Christian Education Association (WVCEA) Fine Arts competition in the spring of each school year. Our individuals and teams have placed in areas including speech, debate, choric speaking, and preaching.

Experience in a drama production has been available to high school students on an alternating yearly basis. Speech and drama students often perform in our annual Christmas and Spring Concerts.
