Chick-Fil-A Leaders Serve at Union Mission

If you drive by the Union Mission in Kanawha City this summer, you may notice some colorful floral additions to the front of the administration building and if you enter the building, you may possibly see your reflection in the sparkling glass doors!

Chick-Fil-A (CFA) Leadership members were busy at Charleston’s Union Mission earlier this spring completing their End of the Year Impact service project. The group had purchased flowers before the day of service when CFA Leadership sponsor, Mrs. Witmer, Mrs. Sylvia, and Mr. Klennert chaperoned the group of juniors and seniors. Mrs. Joyce Davis, Union Mission volunteer coordinator, and parent of three CLCS alumni, assigned groups of students to various service projects at the Union Mission. Some students sorted and hung clothing in the thrift store. Others washed Union Mission vehicles while a group planted flowers outside and another group cleaned floors and windows inside the administration building.

The students ended the day with a picnic Chick-Fil-A lunch before heading back to school. Great job, CFA Leaders!
