The Grinch (aka Cole Holcomb) was on campus for our 2025 Christmas program, “A Change of Heart.” The program was based on the book “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” by Dr. Seuss. Mrs. Madonna Estep directed the acting and the middle school and elementary hand bell choirs, Mrs. Sherri Stephens directed the music provided by the elementary, middle school, and high school choirs, and Mr. Mark Boyd accompanied on the piano.
The evening began with a fun time of Grinch trivia with Mr. Riley. Then, the audience witnessed a very green Grinch’s change of heart as he realized the true meaning of Christmas. Colorfully-clad Who’s brought familiar tunes of the original “Grinch” movie to the stage including Cindy Lou Who’s (aka Abigail Ryan) “Where Are You, Christmas?” A very cute mouse (Ethan Edwards) filled the auditorium with laughter when he scampered across the stage and showed his displeasure with the Grinch’s behavior!
Pastor Edwards ended the evening with prayer before everyone enjoyed cookies provided by the CLCS Parent Teacher Fellowship.
