Some field trips our class has taken:
Fourth grade classes have taken some amazing field trips!  Over the years, we have visited the Ark Encounter, COSI, and the Beckley Coal Mine.
We have also visited Gritts Farm and local plays.
 
Some special events in our classroom have been:
As a fourth grader, we start participating in the Fine Arts competition.  We compete in music, art, and academic categories.  We celebrate holidays, Spirit Week, Dr. Seuss days, student birthdays, elementary field day, and have an end of the year bowling party!

Spelling:
We have a weekly spelling quiz and spelling test.
 
Some of the Bible truths and verses we learn are:

And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men
 
We will spend time with several Old Testament patriarchs, Jesus, and Paul.  We learn a variety of Bible verses including Isaiah 53:1-12, 1 Corinthians 13:1-13, and Matthew 6:9-13
